Carol Robertson Biography

Carol has taken workshops and classes over the years at the Lyme Art Association and with Noel Belton, Jack Broderick, Judy Chapman, Hollis Dunlap, Sara Kielich, Nancy Tracy, Bernie McTigue, Nancy Tankersley, Louis Esposito and others. Without the help of these talented people her paintings would not have been possible. Carol’s favorite artists include Hassam, Monet, Van Gogh, and Sargent. To her, these artists capture the creativity that she tries to achieve and will continue to develop.

Carol’s other hobbies include kayaking, water skiing, windsurfing, and especially sailing. She has actively raced on sailboats ranging in size from an Ensign to a 55 ft. Frers. After over ninety races in the Frers, her love of the sea peaked and now inspires some of her paintings. Her deepest inspiration, however, comes from her family, friends and places she loves.
